Integrating pillbox-mounted BLE beacons with the company's Flutter iOS app, using CoreLocation beacon region monitoring so the app can detect beacon events and log medication activity in the background.

As part of the platform's move to Firebase, re-architected the reminders backend from an always-on VM into a containerised Python service on Cloud Run triggered by Cloud Scheduler, delivering reminders as push notifications with improved reliability and significantly lower hosting costs.

Integrated Apple HealthKit's medication APIs through a native Swift bridge so users can sync their medications into the app.

Forked and patched an open-source Flutter beacon plugin to make background iBeacon ranging reliable on iOS, and migrated it to Swift Package Manager.

Evaluated BLE beacon hardware and tuned accelerometer and firmware settings to arrive at a production iBeacon configuration.

Solely architected and built a Flutter medication adherence app from the ground up, including connectivity to smart IoT devices through a third-party SDK.

Built cloud-hosted Python microservices using Docker on a GCP virtual machine to schedule and send push notification reminders, with Pub/Sub subscribers handling real-time device events.

Mentored and coordinated with a second developer to extend functionality, and shipped regular TestFlight builds for alpha and beta testing.
